Lacanche Range Cookers
The Lacanche philosophy begins with thoughtful design. Simplicity is at the core of each appliance, ensuring both functionality and long-term reliability. Every range is conceived and specified in-house by the factory’s design team, who draw on decades of expertise across commercial and domestic cooking environments. Robust construction is integral to the process, from the elegantly simple two-piece high-performance gas burners to the hand-welded corners of the stainless-steel hob tops. Each component is crafted to contribute genuine substance and durability.
Unlike many manufacturers that operate primarily as assembly plants, Lacanche maintains a high level of in-house production. Most components, including the oven cavities and the signature enamelled finishes, are made directly at the factory. Even parts produced by external partners are designed by Lacanche and sourced as locally as possible; for example, the brass burner caps are manufactured just two hours from the facility. Raw materials, such as the sheet steel used throughout the ranges, are also sourced within France.
Walking through the factory floor provides a clear insight into the company’s philosophy. Each appliance begins as sheet steel and is shaped, assembled, and finished by hand, according to the customer’s chosen configuration, ultimately becoming a long-lasting centrepiece for the kitchen.
In a world dominated by disposable products, there is something remarkable about a range built to last for decades. Even at the end of its service life, approximately 97% of a Lacanche range can be recycled.
When comparing Lacanche to other range cookers, many qualities stand out: the wide choice of configurations, exceptional build quality, rich enamel finishes, and impressive performance. But above all, Lacanche is defined by a commitment to creating products of substance and beauty, crafted to deliver years of reliable service and lasting enjoyment.
