The ROMO S features a high-performance motor with a nine-blade metal fan and optimised airflow design, delivering suction power of up to 25,000 Pa and airflow of up to 20 litres per second. This combination helps remove dust, dirt and larger debris from hard floors and carpets, supporting a thorough clean throughout the home.

Intelligent Debris Detection
Using its fisheye vision sensors, the ROMO S can identify debris such as cat litter and adapt its cleaning behaviour accordingly. Automatic Mop and Roller Brush Lifting
The ROMO S automatically lifts selected cleaning components according to the task being performed, helping prevent cross-contamination between vacuuming and mopping.

In vacuum-only mode, or when a carpet is detected, the robot lifts its mop pads to help prevent moisture and dirt from being transferred onto carpeted surfaces. During mop-only cleaning, the roller brush is lifted to prevent it from interfering with wet cleaning. The roller brush is also raised during dust collection to help minimise noise.

High-Pressure Self-Cleaning Base Station
The ROMO S is supplied with an advanced self-cleaning base station designed to automate much of the routine maintenance associated with robot vacuum and mop systems. Combining high-pressure water jets, a large waste suction port and specialised cleaning functions, the station thoroughly washes the mop pads and removes accumulated debris.

The washboard is designed to minimise dirt build-up and simplify maintenance. Four high-pressure water jets clean the surface, edges and underside of the washboard, helping remove residue from across the cleaning area.

Large-Diameter Waste Suction Port
A 16 mm waste suction port removes wastewater, hair and larger debris from the washboard. Its large diameter helps clear waste efficiently during the cleaning process, reducing the accumulation of dirt and residue.

12N Downward Force for Mop Washing
During cleaning, the base station applies 12 N of downward force to the mop pads to help wash them more thoroughly. Combined with the high-pressure water jets, this helps remove stubborn dirt and maintain the effectiveness of the pads between cleaning sessions.

Up to 200 Days of Washboard Maintenance-Free Operation
The ROMO S's high-pressure self-cleaning base station is designed to provide up to 200 days of maintenance-free operation for the washboard. This claim applies specifically to washboard maintenance and does not eliminate the need to refill the water tanks or replace consumables.

The base station also supports the use of cleaning solution to help break down grease and keep the mop pads and wastewater tank fresher. For optimal performance and to help prevent corrosion, the official ROMO cleaning solution is recommended.

Comprehensive Automated Maintenance

Users can choose from several carpet-cleaning strategies, including Suction Boost, Cross Carpet and Ignore All Carpets, allowing the robot's behaviour to be tailored to different carpet types and household preferences.

Kitchen and Bathroom Cleaning
A customisable cleaning mode allows cleaning solution to be applied directly to the mop pads, helping tackle stubborn kitchen grease and dirt. This is particularly useful in areas where food residue, grease and other persistent marks are more likely to accumulate.
