You may be of an age to remember ‘Horizon’, the BBC go-to documentary series exploring all things scientific, futuristic and otherwise mysterious. Apparently, it’s still on BBC2… perhaps we’ll see its namesake – Marantz Horizon - featured soon; it certainly fits the bill.

For almost 50 years Peter Tyson has made a name for itself as a family-owned, Cumbria-based company dealing in quality TV, hi-fi, home cinema and appliances.

Now, after years of development Peter Tyson is bringing its own Cumbria inspired brand of home stereo to market.

Meridian Audio is a true pioneer in British audio, emerging first as Boothroyd-Stuart in the halcyon days of 1970s hifi… when life was so much simpler!
